I know that eating in a restaurant or a buffet is one of the best ways to get your blood pumping, but a lot of people don’t realize how much food cost. That’s why many people don’t realize that even if you eat free, the amount you have to pay for the food is pretty much the same as eating for free.
Most people think that eating for free is a way to waste money. You think that you are eating in the cafeteria, and that your food cost is the same as the food you ate for free. Thats not how it works. It takes more than just thinking it would be cheaper to go out to eat. It takes commitment. It takes planning. It takes budgeting. I personally have a system where I have an online planner that helps me track my expenses.
It’s also possible to order food online that is not only cheaper than what you would pay at a restaurant, but you receive what you paid for. Amazon Prime offers this by default. But just like in the world of business, where being more frugal takes time and resources, it might take more than a month of planning and budgeting to reach the ideal price point.
So why do so many of us give up on finding ways to save money when it comes to our food? Well, it’s because we often forget to count the cost of our food. The act of being able to count costs and see where we stand financially makes it easier to plan our budgets, and it also helps us see if we’re doing everything we can to save.
Well, yes, you’re correct. I know, we’re probably all guilty of this. But I’d venture to say most of us would only be aware of this when we’re so strapped for cash. In our daily lives we often forget to make a daily allowance for our personal hygiene (i.e. toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.

The problem is in trying to use this knowledge to our advantage. We should do what’s in our power to make our friends and family aware about our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions. That way we can adjust our behavior to fit in with our current circumstances. But that is, of course, impossible. For example, if we could only learn our friends and family about how we eat our food and how we drink our alcohol, I think we could manage to have a nicer dinner.
The biggest thing we can do is to get a bit of sleep. In this case we’re not too sure what to do. If you’re not on the task, you should try to keep a calm head and keep a quiet laugh.
