This Spanish slow roast has everything you crave in a meaty slow roasted meat sauce with a perfectly tender texture. It’s easy to make and you can make it with any meats you have in your freezer, as long as you have a pressure cooker.
This is probably one of the best Spanish slow roasts we’ve ever had. The meat is perfectly cooked and you can add almost anything in to it, such as cheese, tomatoes, olives, or anything else you might like.
Spanish slow roasts are a common culinary tradition in Spain, but you can make yours at home. If you want to make your own, cut one of the thicker slices of meat into rounds and throw it in the pot. Let it cook for two hours, or until the meat is cooked through. Then add all the fixings and let them cook for another four hours.
And then take the lid off and watch the meat fall apart in front of you like a piece of meat in a jar.
This recipe is very similar to my recipe for slow-cooked pork chops. The meat is cut into one-inch-thick slices and then cooked in coconut oil. It is slow cooked for two to three hours. After that, I would cut the meat into smaller pieces. Then cook it for a few hours longer, and then cut it into smaller pieces and cook it for a few more hours.
I’ve actually started making it again for this recipe and feel like I will have more time to experiment with the recipe in the future.

I’m not sure I understand how any slow cooker can be slow, but if it is, I’m a fan. So far it seems to be an extremely forgiving slow cooker, so you can adjust the cooking temperature right down to low. Also, if you take good care of your meat, it will take less time to cook than you think. I’ve cooked my own meat, and it took me less than an hour to cook my first slow cooker roast.
