I have always loved fried foods. I grew up eating and loving these fried pork and chips meals. I was also able to eat and absorb all of the flavors of my parents in a simple way. This was one of the very first dishes I cooked for my family. My mom would start with the simple and traditional dishes like fried vegetables, fried pork, and fried rice. I would take her to the market, buy a fried meal, and hand it to her as she left the house.
When I was a kid, the best fried food I ever ate was a fried pork chop from the local Chinese restaurant. This is when my love for fried food truly began.
I love fried food so much because I know that it can be a good replacement for all the unhealthy fat we eat and the sugar and salt in most processed foods. I am totally going to start cooking fried food with my daughter so she can help me get my family healthy.
It all started when my wife and I moved to a new city. I used to be a junk food junkie. I would buy a box of Fritos, or Cokes, or a diet soda, and then eat those. But it was just a box of Fritos, and that was it. I just didn’t eat that many of them because I didn’t want to ruin my diet. I used to eat fried foods all the time.
