Best hostels in Madrid? This is my favorite question. I find it interesting that so many people have trouble answering this question. For me, it is a question that is both interesting and often asked. I’m not the only one who does this.

There are two places in Spain in which I feel people always ask this question. The first is at the Hotel Tres Encantados in Alberche (one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in because it is so close to the city center and just the right distance in terms of walking distance to the best restaurants). The second is at the Ritz-Carlton in Madrid, the hotel where I stayed while attending the annual Montserrat conference last year.

The former has a hostel with two rooms and a double bed, and the latter has a private room with a bed, a desk, and a queen sized bed. The hostel is in an older building, just a few steps away from the main tourist area of the city. The rooms are very well-kept and clean, and they have a nice pool with great views. There is also a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view, while you eat a meal.

The hostel I stayed at in Madrid is called Hostel La Casa Verde. The staff at the hostel make you feel like you’re staying in a hostel, but when you get down to it, there is no hostel vibe to it. There is no staff on the terrace. When you go to the main lobby of the hostel, the staff just ask you to check in and then leave.

I understand why people would want to stay at a hostel, but the staff there just feels like theyre trying to be helpful and have a nice vibe. This really bugs me, since I feel like if they were trying to be helpful, they would actually want you to have a good experience at the hostel. But I guess that’s just my personal opinion.
